Casandra Evans was awarded the Amy Siebel Award as the Outstanding Graduating Player for her impressive soccer career that began in Swift Current at age six and continues today in Montreal playing for the seventh ranked McGill Martlets.
Evans will be remembered as one of the top female players to ever play in Swift Current with a closet full of medals and trophies from her time spent playing with the Swift Current United Soccer Club as well as the SCCHS Ardens and numerous club teams in Saskatoon and Regina. In 2006 Evans attended nationals in Laval, Quebec with the Regina Panthers U18 team.
Evans also played for the Saskatchewan All-Star team in both the indoor and outdoor programs in the U12, U13, U14, and U15 age groups.
Evans also refereed soccer in Swift Current since the age of 13, coached a U10 in her graduating year, and assisted her mother with Board tasks such as word processing and jersey inventory.
